1 day at the Prado with an art historian

Spend a whole day at the Prado Museum, Madrid’s main cultural landmark, with your own private guide, an art historian who will make of this guided visit a true in-museum art lecture.

From Classical sculpture until 1900, we will proceed period after period, school after school, artist after artist, so that this guided lecture will provide you with an excellent overview of western art.

Antiquity, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, Impressionism... all will march with their main officers Raphael, Titian, Tintoretto, Caravaggio, Carracci, Rubens, Velázquez, Watteau, Mengs, Canova, Goya, ...

The tour won't be a marathon: you hold the reins of the visit... you choose whether you want to be guided or just receive explanations on the paintings that you want to know better; you decide when you want to sit in front of a painting and when you would like to sit at the coffee shop (with or without art talk); you decide whether you have lunch at the cafeteria or outside and resume your visit in the afternoon.

The aim of this tour is that you obtain the most of your visit to the Prado, from the very moment the museum opens at 9am until it closes at 8pm.

The price for this tour is 700 € for a group up to 6 participants.

The tickets to the Museum are paid apart, estimating 10 € per person.
